With the official release of Halo Reach still several months out, there are bound to be a few surprises up Microsoft and Bungie’s sleeves, one of which it seems is a new Halo: Reach-branded Xbox 360 controller, which appeared on Xbox.com this week.
Though devoid of any extensive product details, the page for the new controller does include a picture of the new design, as well as a retail price of $59.99.
The controller features a black plastic frame with silver metallic faceplate with custom gray Halo: Reach graphics. On the left side the design reads “Reach” followed by the word “REQ.” and some sort of identification number. On the right you can clearly see the words “Property of UNSC,” the acronym of the series’ fictional United Nations Space Command, as well as a serial number and barcode.
